Early Bird Registrations must be paid before Friday, November 20 2026. After this date the standard rate will apply.
All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and are inclusive of 10 % GST (Goods and Services Tax).

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation of Registration Deadline: Friday, 22 January 2027 AEDT
Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the AAABG 2027 Secretariat. Cancellations made by Friday, 22 January 2027 AEDT will result in a full refund less $150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by Tuesday, 9 March 2027 AEDT without incurring any cost penalty. Refunds for cancellations received after Friday, 22 January 2027 AEDT will only be made in exceptional circumstances. The host reserves final decision on a case-by-case basis for granting a cancellation in extenuating circumstances. It is recommended that travel insurance be secured personally upon registering. The Conference Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers of registrations.

The host and the Conference Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the host and the Conference Organisers do not accept responsibility for the loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Conference does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.

Note participants may be photographed or filmed at any time. By attending, you consent to the use, publication, or reproduction of your image or recording in any form of communication material used to promote the event and report on its events through publications and resource materials. If you do not wish to have your image photographed or filmed, please contact the secretariat in advance or onsite to advise of your preference.

Conference Postponement
In the event of a postponement, all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new Conference dates. All components of your registration including accommodation bookings, Social Functions will also be transferred. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the AAABG 2027 Secretariat to request a transfer of your registration to a colleague at no cost, or request a cancellation and refund which will incur a $150 administration fee up until the Registration Cancellation Deadline.

In the event of the cancellation of the Conference, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full.

AAABG 2027 is pleased to be exploring a series of Field Days Tours to complement the Conference program and showcase leading agricultural, animal breeding and genetics operations across the region.
The tours are proposed to be held on Monday, 22 March 2027 AEDT.

Tour details, itineraries and pricing are currently being finalised by the Local Organising Committee.

If you are interested in attending a Field Days Tour, please register your expression of interest below. Delegates who register interest will receive further information as soon as details become available.

Please note that submitting an expression of interest does not confirm a booking or incur any cost at this stage.

The AAABG 2027 Secretariat is pleased to advise that discounted accommodation rates have been secured at a selection of hotels in Geelong, all conveniently located within walking distance of the conference venue.

If no availability appears below, or if you wish to book dates outside the accommodation block (22 March 2027 - 26 March 2027), please contact the AAABG 2027 Secretariat with your preferred dates. We would be pleased to assist where possible.

If you do not require accommodation, or plan to book independently, please select “No Accommodation Required” and click “Next” at the bottom of the page.

Booking Terms & Conditions

• A deposit of one nights fee or full amount (depending on hotel) is required to secure your accommodation booking. The remaining amount for all other nights(s) will be due for payment upon arrival at the hotel via debit or credit card. 
• Bookings are subject to availability  
• Breakfast is NOT included unless otherwise stated  The rates listed are shown per night per room and for the full stay 
• The rates are in Australian Dollars ($AUD), inclusive of 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) which is payable to the hotel chosen. *Please note Oaks  is NOT inclusive of 10% GST 
• The Secretariat does not take responsibility for accommodation if deposits are not received by Friday, 5 February 2027. 

Accommodation Deadline: Friday, 5 February 2027
Cancellations 
NO ACCOMMODATION PAYMENTS WILL BE REFUNDED ON OR AFTER Friday, 5 February 2027. Delegates who confirm an accommodation booking with a credit card or full pre-payment and who wish to cancel on or after Friday, 5 February 2027 are liable for the full cost of their accommodation nights cancelled. Credit Card details or full pre-payments will be held on file as a guarantee of booking and shared with the hotel upon situations of no-shows, or late cancellations, to charge at full rate upon their discretion. To cancel your reservation, please contact the AAABG 2027 Secretariat. Name changes to a reservation can be made at no charge. 
 
Deposits 
Accommodation will not be confirmed until payment of the first night is received by Credit Card or full pre-payment is received by Cheque or Electronic Funds Transfer. Your payment will be forwarded to your hotel and credited to your room account and credit card details will be retained on file as a guarantee of booking. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the hotel concerned upon check in/out depending on the hotels policy. If accommodation deposits are not received before Friday, 5 February 2027 your room will be cancelled and released back to the hotel. The AAABG 2027 Secretariat does not take responsibility for accommodation if payment is not received by this date. 
 
Change of booking 
Any change in booking must be made in writing to the AAABG 2027 Secretariat and NOT directly to the hotel before Friday, 5 February 2027. Any changes received after Friday, 5 February 2027 will be at the hotels discretion and based on availability. 
 
Early arrival 
As check in at most hotels is not until 14:00, it is possible that your room may not be ready for immediate occupation on your early arrival. Whilst hotels will do everything possible to accommodate early arrivals, if you wish to be guaranteed immediate occupation you can pay an extra day’s tariff for the night before you are due to arrive. If you wish to take this precaution, please advise the AAABG 2027 Secretariat so we can notify the hotel that your room is required early. 
 
No show policy 
In the event of a “No Show” on the date of arrival, full cancellation penalties apply to all nights of the stay.
