Accommodation

The AEGC 2018 has confirmed rooms at the below hotels for the benefit of Convention delegates. You are encouraged to secure your accommodation through the Convention Secretariat to ensure that you receive the negotiated competitive rates. Please view the hotel's terms and conditions as they may vary, you will be bound to those terms and conditions once your deposit has been paid.

The AEGC 2018 Secretariat will book accommodation on your behalf at the below hotels.

The price rates are per night, and all fees are quoted in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).

CANCELLATION DATE: Deadline: Monday 18th December 2017 Cancellations must be made in writing to the conference secretariat. Cancellations received prior to 18th December 2017 will receive a full refund minus a $150 administration fee. Cancellations received after 18th December 2017 will not be refunded. Substitute delegates will be accepted. Failure to obtain the appropriate visa to travel to Australia does not constitute a refund. The Conference Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers. Accommodation Cancellation Policy Deadline: 8 January 2018 A deposit for one night's accommodation must be received by 8 January 2018. Any unpaid rooms will be returned to the hotel on this date. No accommodation deposits will be refunded on or after 8 January 2018. Please make sure that your accommodation dates are correct. Delegates who confirm attendance and provide credit card details but do not advise of cancellation before the 30 day period of Conference commencement will incur charges for the 'No Show' rate, as penalised by the hotel. Any change in booking must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat and NOT directly to the hotel In registering for this conference relevant details (name/country) will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates, and also may be made available (if necessary) to parties directly related to the conference including venues, accommodation providers, sponsors, key suppliers and future conferences. Your name and contact information may be used by the event manager and other approved stakeholder, for marketing and managing this and future events of this type. DISCLAMINER: While we will endeavour to present the program as advertised, the Conference organisers reserve the right to alter, without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the Conference, for any reasons outside of their reasonable control. The organising committee will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alterations. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the organising committee will not accept responsibility for the loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policies to cover personal possessions. Individuals are not covered by the organising committee against cancellations of bookings or the theft or damage of belongings.
