Marketing Privacy

In registering for DFTB26 relevant details (name/organisation) will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates, and also may be made available (if necessary) to parties directly related to the Conference including sponsors, key suppliers and future Conference's. Your name, contact information, image and likeness may be used by the Conference Secretariat and other approved stakeholders, for marketing and managing this and future events of this type.


Registration Selection

Tiered Pricing Model: Registration rates for DFTB26 will be released in three sets, in an increasing tiered structure with capped tickets per release.

Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis and will be subject to availability. Once each release is sold out, the online registration system will move to the next tier.

 

Payment must be received on the date of purchase in order to secure your registration rate. 

Please note that Virtual and Day Registrations will not become available until a few weeks prior to the conference.

All fees are quoted in British Pounds (GBP, £).

 

Full Registration Entitlements include:

- Admission to all Conference sessions and exhibition 22-24 June 2026

- Complimentary admission to the Welcome Reception

- Daily morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea

- Opportunity to purchase tickets for the Storytelling Evening on 21 June 2026 and Conference Party on 23 June 2026

Tiered Pricing Model

Registrations rates for DFTB26 will be sold in stages, in an increasing tiered structure with capped tickets per release. Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis and will be subject to availability. Once each release is sold out, the online registration system automatically moves to the next tier. Payment must be made immediately in order to secure your registration rate.

 

Registration Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations made before Wednesday 22 April 2026 will result in a full refund less £100 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by Wednesday 22 April 2026 without incurring any cost penalty. Refunds for cancellations received after Wednesday 22 April 2026 will only be made in exceptional circumstances. The Conference Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.

The Conference and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organising Committee and the Conference Organisers do not accept responsibility for the loss of monies caused by delays. Conference Postponement
In the event of a postponement, all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new Conference dates. All components of your registration including accommodation bookings, Welcome Reception RSVP and Conference Party RSVP will also be transferred. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the Conference Secretariat to request a transfer of your registration to a colleague at no cost, or request a cancellation and refund which will incur a £100 administration fee up until the Registration Cancellation Deadline.

 

Conference Cancellation
In the event of the cancellation of the Conference, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full.

Accommodation Selection

The Conference Secretariat has negotiated special rates at nearby hotels in Glasgow for DFTB26. You are encouraged to secure your accommodation through the Secretariat to ensure that you receive the negotiated competitive rates.

Please note:

A deposit of one nights fee is required to secure your accommodation booking. The remaining amount for all other nights(s) will be due for payment upon arrival at the hotel via debit or credit card.

If you require accommodation outside the nights of the 20th June - 26th June 2026, please email the DFTB26 Secretariat with your preferred dates and they will do their best to arrange this on your behalf.

Cancellations
NO ACCOMMODATION PAYMENTS WILL BE REFUNDED ON OR AFTER the above deadline. Delegates who confirm an accommodation booking with a credit card or full pre-payment and who wish to cancel on or after the above deadline are liable for the full cost of their accommodation nights cancelled. Credit Card details or full pre-payments will be held on file as a guarantee of booking and shared with the hotel upon situations of no-shows, or late cancellations, to charge at full rate upon their discretion. To cancel your reservation, please contact the DFTB26 Secretariat. Name changes to a reservation can be made at no charge.

Deposits
Accommodation will not be confirmed until payment of the first night is received by Credit Card or full pre-payment is received by Cheque or Electronic Funds Transfer. Your payment will be forwarded to your hotel and credited to your room account and credit card details will be retained on file as a guarantee of booking. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the hotel concerned upon check in/out depending on the hotels policy. If accommodation deposits are not received before the above deadline your room will be cancelled and released back to the hotel. The DFTB26 Secretariat does not take responsibility for accommodation if payment is not received by this date.

 

Change of booking
Any change in booking must be made in writing to the DFTB26 Secretariat and NOT directly to the hotel before the above deadline. Any changes received after the above deadline will be at the hotels discretion and based on availability.

 

Early arrival
As check in at most hotels is not until 14:00, it is possible that your room may not be ready for immediate occupation on your early arrival. Whilst hotels will do everything possible to accommodate early arrivals, if you wish to be guaranteed immediate occupation you can pay an extra day’s tariff for the night before you are due to arrive. If you wish to take this precaution, please advise the DFTB26 Secretariat so we can notify the hotel that your room is required early.

 

No show policy
In the event of a “No Show” on the date of arrival, full cancellation penalties apply to all nights of the stay.
