The IPPA Developing Country World Congress registration is exclusively for those attendees travelling from a primary residence within a country recognised as ‘developing’ by the UN. Developing Country Registrations will be cross-checked by the Congress Secretariat 

Registration Cancellation Policy 

Cancellation of Registration Deadline: Friday 2 May 2025
Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the Congress Secretariat. Cancellations made by 2 May 2025 will result in a full refund less $150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by 30 June 2025, without incurring any cost penalty. Refunds for cancellations received after 2 May 2025, will only be made in exceptional circumstances. It is recommended that travel insurance be secured personally upon registering. The Congress Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers of registrations.

Delegates must note that some social functions may reach their capacity limits and tickets are only guaranteed on a first come first served basis. From 2 May 2025, no refunds will be provided for a transfer of registration. There will be no cancellation allowance for failure to secure a visa to Australia. It is recommended that travel insurance be secured personally upon registration. The Congress Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.

Accommodation

The IPPA 2025 World Congress Secretariat has secured a range of accommodation options from single to premier rooms to shared apartments all in the vicinity of the Congress venue, the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC). 

Delegates can easily make an accommodation reservation via the online registration form. All rooms and rates below are held until Monday 2 June 2025 or until sold out. Rooms are available on a first-come first-served basis. Please ensure to book your accommodation early to avoid disappointment. 

If accommodation payments are not received by Monday 2 June 2025, your room will be released back to the hotel, and you will be liable for full payment. The IPPA 2025 World Congress Secretariat does not take responsibility for accommodation if deposits are not received by this date. 

 

If any of the following apply to your accommodation needs, please contact the Congress Secretariat directly at registration@ippaworldcongress.org for assistance:

  • You wish to modify your accommodation booking or prefer to book accommodation after Monday, 2 June 2025.
