Marketing Privacy

In registering for Congress your relevant details (name/organisation) will be incorporated into the delegate list for the benefit of all delegates and may be made available to parties directly related to Congress including but not limited to venues, accommodation providers, sponsors, key suppliers and future Congress events. Your contact information may be used by the Congress Secretariat and other approved stakeholders, for marketing and managing this and future events of this type.

Workshops

Pre-Congress workshops will be taking place on Thursday 17 October 2024. They are an optional add-on fee to your registration, further details and prices are indicated below quoted in AUD and inclusive of 10% GST.

All workshops have a limited capacity and will be based on a first come first served basis.

Half day workshop - $180

Half day workshops will take place in either the morning or afternoon and will include one catering break and lunch.

Full day workshop - $300

Full day workshops will run for the duration of the day and include two catering breaks and lunch.

Two workshop deal - $300

A two-workshop deal consists of you selecting both an AM and PM half day workshop to attend. You will receive catering as mentioned above.

Aged Care Workshop-Afternoon- $100 

The Aged Care workshop runs from 3:30-5:00pm.

Advanced Paediatrics Treatment Planning Workshop-Morning- $100 

The Advanced Paediatrics Treatment Planning Workshop runs from 8:30-12:30pm.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of Registration Deadline: COB 16 August 2024

Cancellations (partial or full) must be made in writing to the Congress Secretariat. Cancellations for in-person registrations made by COB 16 August 2024 will result in a full refund less $150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by COB 16 August 2024, without incurring any cost penalty. The host reserves final decision on a case-by-case basis for granting a cancellation in extenuating circumstances. We recommend you secure travel insurance upon registration. The Congress Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers of registrations.

The Congress and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the Congress, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The host and the Congress Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the host and the Congress Organisers do not accept responsibility for the loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Congress does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.

Deposits Accommodation will not be confirmed until payment is received by Credit Card or full pre-payment is received by Electronic Funds Transfer. Your payment will be forwarded to your hotel and credited to your room account. If accommodation full payments are not received before 2 September 2024, your room will be cancelled and released back to the hotel. The ADOHTA-DHAA National Congress 2024 Secretariat does not take responsibility for accommodation if payment is not received by this date. Cancellations NO ACCOMMODATION PAYMENTS WILL BE REFUNDED ON OR AFTER 2 September 2024. Participants who confirm an accommodation booking who wish to cancel on or after 2 September 2024, are liable for the full cost of their accommodation nights cancelled. To cancel your reservation, please contact The ADOHTA-DHAA National Congress 2024 Secretariat at registration@oralhealthcongress.com.au.  Name changes to a reservation can be made at no charge. Change of Booking Booking changes must be made in writing to The Congress Secretariat and NOT directly to the hotel before 2 September 2024. Any changes received after Monday, 2 September 2024, will be at the hotel’s discretion and based on availability. Early Arrival Check-in times at most hotels is 1400hrs, it is possible that your room may not be ready for early occupancy. Early arrivals may be guaranteed by paying an extra day’s tariff for the night prior to arrival. If you wish to utilise this option please contact the Congress Secretariat on the registration form so we can notify the hotel that your room is required early. No Show Policy In the event of a “No Show” on the date of arrival, full cancellation penalties apply to all nights of the stay.

Payment

Merchant and service fees, inclusive of GST, will be added for all payments made via credit or debit card.

Mastercard and Visa payments will be charged at 3.25% and AMEX payments will be charged at 4.00%. If you select to ‘Pay later by Invoice’ you will receive an invoice and have the option to pay via bank transfer.

Standard bank fees apply for any international transfers.
