Terms and Conditions

Cancellation of Registration Deadline: 24 September 2025

Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the Meeting Secretariat. Cancellations made by 24 September 2025 will result in a full refund less $150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by 9 November 2025 without incurring any cost penalty. Refunds for cancellations received after 24 September 2025 will only be made in exceptional circumstances. The host reserves final decision on a case-by-case basis for granting a cancellation in extenuating circumstances. It is recommended that travel insurance be secured personally upon registering. The Meeting Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers of registrations.

Meeting Postponement
In the event of a postponement, all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new Meeting dates. All components of your registration including accommodation bookings, Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner will also be transferred. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the Meeting Secretariat to request a transfer of your registration to a colleague at no cost, or request a cancellation and refund which will incur a $150 administration fee up until the Registration Cancellation Deadline.

Meeting Cancellation
In the event of the cancellation of the Meeting, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full.

Full Meeting Half Day Tours

Half Day Tours
Rangitoto Island Summit Walk 
Enjoy a ferry ride to Rangitoto Island, followed by a guided walk to the summit for panoramic views of Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf. This tour includes a welcoming ceremony. Please note that this hike will take 1.5 - 2 hours (7km) with a level of difficulty of moderate. Ensure you are prepared with closed toe shoes and a jacket. 

Waiheke Island Winery Tour
Enjoy a ferry to Waiheke Island, arriving at Matiatia, where buses will be waiting to take you on a winery and island tour consisting of three stops: Cable Bay Winery, Batch Winery, and Onetangi Beach. Tastings will be available at Cable Bay Winery and Batch Winery.

Delve into New Zealand's rugby history and culture with a guided tour of the All Blacks Experience, featuring interactive exhibits, historical artifacts, and a chance to meet former players. 

Wētā Workshop

The TIAFT 2025 Meeting Secretariat has negotiated special rates at nearby hotels in Auckland for the Meeting. You are encouraged to secure your accommodation through the Secretariat to ensure that you receive the negotiated competitive rates.

A deposit of one nights fee is required to secure your accommodation booking. The remaining amount for all other nights(s) will be due for payment upon arrival at the hotel via debit or credit card.
