Need help Designing A custom stand?

Harry the Hirer is the official stand builder for 14WCC 2025 and will have access to the exhibition earlier than other stand builders.

Capturing the essence of your brand and transforming that into a 3-dimensional, experiential marketing space is what their Custom Stand Team do best.

Their team of designers and custom project managers have been consistently recognised for their high quality and innovative results. They know how important it is to listen and collaborate in order to deliver and exceed expectations. They will put themselves into your shoes to create an experience that will impress.

Custom Stand Approval

You are required to submit the following for approval:

  • Custom Stand Approval Form
  • Custom stand build plans for venue approval (including any rigging elements)
  • Exhibition builder's certificate of currency
  • Contact details for the build person onsite
  • Number of hours required for stand build (please note the build times listed in the exhibition timetable. If these are not suitable, contact the Congress organisers immediately)

Please note: Custom stand plans can take up to 2 weeks for approval.

All custom stand builders must complete MCEC site induction. 


MCEC Approval Required for Custom Stand Plans

 If you’re building a custom stand, it needs to be submitted to MCEC for approval. Your plans must include:
• Safe work method statement (SWMS)
• Detailed, professional drawings (no hand sketches) with side elevations. Exhibitor Guide 29/04/25 5
• Construction materials and full measurements.
• Flooring type and dimensions.

• Heavy equipment/moving machinery details, including:             
• Weight (kg)             
• Length (m)             
• Width (m)
• Length (m) 

Some stands require engineering approval, including:

• Multi-level structures• Stands using steel/trusses
• Grandstands or temporary seating
• High-risk activations as identified by MCEC Operations If required, exhibitors and stand builders must provide engineering documentation and risk assessments.
